Service Description

Bring out your inner witch or wizard while exploring clay! Each student will create 3 magical projects over the course of this 5 day camp- 4 days of hand building and 1 day of glazing. Talisman Trade o Description: Students will create clay pendant talismans for protection, luck, strength, etc. that can be worn as a necklace. Students will create a collection of talismans to later trade with other students on the final day of camp. o Skills: clay stamping, slab rolling • Witchy Wands o Description: Students will learn how to create and use coils to create a wand that will be inscribed with a hidden wish. o Skills: coil construction, scoring & slipping. • Mini Cauldrons o Description: Students will create a cup-sized footed mini cauldron with handles using a pinch pot technique. Their pinch pots will be decorated with impressions of plants o Skills: pinch pot construction, handle making, scoring & slipping, carving. Students entering 3rd grade - 6th grade. Clay, glaze, tools, and firings will all be provided along with a snack. $195 per camper
